Notes:

  • Coleman will be making his NASCAR Busch Series debut in the Federated Auto Parts 300.

  • Coleman’s first experience at Nashville included two consecutive full days of testing at the facility in March, 2006.  The first day of testing was a private test session.  Day two of testing was an ARCA RE/MAX Series open test session. During this session, Coleman posted the sixth-fastest speed out of a record 55 ARCA RE/MAX Series drivers who participated in the open-test.

  • In his first race on the track, Coleman qualified third out of the record setting sixty-eight cars attempting to qualify for the ARCA RE/MAX Series’ PFG Lester 150 in April, 2006. The race marked Coleman’s ARCA debut, finishing second.

  • Brewco Motorsports begins its 11th year competing in the NASCAR Busch Series. Brewco is coming off its most solid performance in the series, having placed two cars (No. 27 and No. 66) in the top-ten in points (eighth and tenth respectively) in 2005.

  • Brewco Motorsports will field three cars in the Nashville race Saturday: The No. 27 Federated Auto Parts Ford Fusion with driver David Green, the No. 66 Cub Cadet Ford Fusion driven by Greg Biffle, and the No. 37 Federated Auto Parts Ford Fusion driven by Brewco rookie Brad Coleman, who is making his NASCAR Busch Series debut.

  • Brewco is gearing up to race in its home state next week in the Meijer 300 at Kentucky Speedway. Media interested in talking with Brewco ownership, crew members, or drivers can contact Cathy Varga (#27) or Stephanie Ferguson (#66) at 270-754-2264.

Brad Coleman on Nashville:

“I’m really excited about making my NASCAR Busch Series debut at the Nashville Superspeedway, which was also the location of my ARCA debut.

“I feel really comfortable with the track.  I know that when we go out there with the Busch car, we will do very well.  My guys have been working extremely hard to get the car prepared for June 10th.

“I can’t believe it was just four years ago that I was racing karts and now I have the opportunity of a lifetime to race in a Busch series race.  I am so blessed.”
