LEBANON, Tenn. — Nashville has always known how to put on a show, and on May 30 the stage gets a whole lot bigger.
The Sports Illustrated Resorts 250 takes the green flag at Nashville Superspeedway on the last Saturday of the month, uniting one of the most storied names in sports with Middle Tennessee's premier racing venue in a pairing that feels as natural as a honky tonk on Broadway.
The name on the race isn't a coincidence. Sports Illustrated Resorts -- the experiential vacation club born from Travel + Leisure Co. and the iconic Sports Illustrated brand -- is planting its flag right here in Music City. The brand's newest destination is taking shape in Midtown, just minutes from downtown Nashville, The Gulch, Bridgestone Arena and the Ryman Auditorium. It's scheduled to welcome its first owners and guests later in 2026.
The Sports Illustrated Resorts Nashville property on Music Row is designed for the fan who lives and breathes sports -- the kind of traveler who plans the trip around race weekends, rivalry games and unforgettable moments. Modern multi-bedroom suites sleep up to six and feature fully equipped kitchens and in-unit laundry, blending homestyle comfort with a spirited, sports-inspired atmosphere. A signature fitness center, resort-style outdoor pool and Tailgate Deck, and lively sports bar and restaurant create an experience that feels equal parts game-day energy and premium getaway.
Think about what that means for a NASCAR weekend at Nashville Superspeedway. Guests staying at Sports Illustrated Resorts Nashville can spend Friday evening cheering on the Flote 200 CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race, Saturday night watching NASCAR's rising stars battle under the lights in the Sports Illustrated Resorts 250, and cap the weekend on Sunday with the Cracker Barrel 400 NASCAR Cup Series feature. Then it's a short drive back to Music Row -- no decompression needed.
The Sports Illustrated Resorts 250 is the centerpiece of a stacked Saturday at the track that begins with Wilson County Convention and Visitors Bureau Qualifying -- setting the grid for both the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and the Cup Series -- before 188 laps of concrete-oval drama determine who gets to hoist the trophy under the Nashville lights. The race airs live on The CW, with coverage also on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
Kids 12 and under get in free to the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and CRAFTSMAN Truck Series events with a ticketed adult. Weekend packages and premium experiences are on sale now.
