LEBANON, Tenn. — The Nashville chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities has opened its 2026 grant application cycle, inviting eligible nonprofit children’s organizations across Middle Tennessee to apply for funding support.
Dedicated to helping the next generation exceed expectations and ensuring every child has the same opportunities no matter the obstacles they face, Speedway Children’s Charities raises funds throughout the year to provide grants to organizations serving children in need. In 2025, the Nashville chapter distributed more than $240,000 to local nonprofits making a direct impact in the community.

“Our mission is simple: We care for children and help create opportunities for them to lead productive lives,” Nashville Superspeedway general manager Matt Greci said. “We are proud to support organizations doing meaningful work across Middle Tennessee and look forward to reviewing applications for the 2026 grant cycle.”
Organizations are eligible to apply if they are an existing 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity whose primary focus is serving children in Middle Tennessee. During the grant review process, Speedway Children’s Charities evaluates applications based on three primary pillars:
- Critical: victims of sex trafficking, homeless, orphans, foster population, food security
- Medical: illness, dental care, disability, therapy services
- Educational: tutoring, literacy programs, after-school initiatives
While all eligible organizations are encouraged to apply, Speedway Children’s Charities does not typically fund capital projects or operational expenses, including salaries.
The application period is now open and closes on June 26.
