LEBANON, Tenn. — Nashville Superspeedway is bringing the honky tonk to the racetrack.
The track announced the debut of the “Infield Honky Tonk,” an all-in-one race weekend destination nestled in the infield next to Turn 4, putting fans just feet from the on-track action while surrounding them with the food, music, drinks and energy that define a true Nashville experience.
The Infield Honky Tonk will be open throughout the Cracker Barrel 400 NASCAR Cup Series race weekend this May 29-31.
Access to the Infield Honky Tonk starts at $20 with the purchase of a race ticket.
"We want to represent the best of what Music City is all about and the Infield Honky Tonk is the fullest expression of that yet," said Matt Greci, general manager of Nashville Superspeedway. "Now we have created a space where fans can be right in the middle of the race action -- cold drink in hand, live music in their ears and cars flying by just a few feet away. That is what ‘High-Speed Honky Tonk’ is all about."
The Infield Honky Tonk will feature live music performances, trackside viewing decks, outdoor bars, food and drink vendors, viewing screens, restrooms and a BBQ tasting experience with Blues Hog. It includes offerings such as $5 Busch Lights, and cocktails and margaritas available throughout the weekend from Desnuda. Fans can look forward to driver appearances, special guests and giveaways.
The experience will feature activations from some of Nashville Superspeedway's premier brand partners, including Gibson, Uncommon James and Lit Brand. A merchandise trailer will be on-site for fans to purchase exclusive race apparel and items.
