LEBANON, Tenn. — Nashville Superspeedway will host the Run Nash Speedway 5000 on May 2, welcoming runners of all ages and abilities to the 1.33-mile concrete oval for a unique race-day setting.
The Speedway 5000 is a fast 5K staged throughout Nashville Superspeedway. Designed for a high-energy race experience, the course features smooth pavement, sweeping turns and a venue unlike any other, allowing participants to run on the same track used by motorsports champions.
The event offers three participation options. A timed 5K gives competitive runners the opportunity to test their pace on the oval. A one-lap fun run covers 1.33 miles and is ideal for walkers and families. A free kids’ run invites young participants onto the track for a short dash at no cost.
Following the races, participants and spectators can enjoy a post-race festival with music, food vendors and family-friendly activities throughout the morning.
“We’re excited to partner with Run Nash to introduce this event at Nashville Superspeedway,” said Matt Greci, general manager of Nashville Superspeedway. “The Speedway 5000 lets people experience the track from a completely different perspective while supporting an important cause in our community.”
Each participant will receive a commemorative finisher’s medal and participant T-shirt. A portion of every registration will benefit the Nashville chapter of Speedway Children’s Charities.
Registration is open at RunNash.com.
