Riley Herbst captured the pole position for the Tennessee Lottery 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday.

Herbst, driving the No. 98 Ford for Stewart-Haas Racing turned a lap of 156.665 mph (30.562 seconds) on the 1.3-mile concrete track.

A.J. Allmendinger was second, followed by Trevor Bayne, Austin Hill and Justin Allgaier.

The green flag for the Tennessee Lottery 250 is set for just after 2:30 p.m. CT.

The Tennessee Lottery 250 is the 23rd NASCAR Xfinity Series race hosted by Nashville Superspeedway.

David Stremme holds the record for fastest NASCAR Xfinity Series qualifying lap at Nashville with a lap of 166.561 mph (28.811 seconds) on April 7, 2007.
